Volunteer Registration

Girls Rock! Des Moines accepts all volunteers age 17+ who are female, trans, and gender non- conforming. We have a wide variety of roles for volunteers; you don't need musical experience to be able to help!

The camps take place Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, June 11th - 22nd, and July 9th – 20th. Different positions require different time commitments, so please let us know if you have a scheduling conflict and we can work around it.

Get in touch with us at girlsrockdesmoines@gmail.com if you have any questions!

Thanks for your interest in being an instrument teacher or band coach! Instrument instructors are paired with another teacher and work to teach a small group of campers. We will provide a curriculum based around learning a few beats or chords that campers will be able to use to help compose their song. Instrument instructors can also feel free to teach popular songs or performance techniques!
