Mentors and Counselors in Training

Mentors are GR!DSM members ages 14-16 who have attended camp at least one year. Mentors are the liaison between our counselors and in-coming campers.  They will be forming their own mentor band and will perform at the end of camp showcase.

Counselors in Training are any past camper who have aged out (17 or older) and are interested in becoming a camp counselor or teacher.  Their role is to shadow the existing leadership roles and assist when needed.

Instrument Selection

Campers focus on one instrument to study. Campers are assigned to instruments based on availability and their requests. Applicants can request guitar, bass, drums, keyboards or vocals.  Please rank instruments according to your preference.

Note: Due to the need to acquire the gear we need in advance, you cannot change your selection after you send in your application, and you cannot change the instrument you’re assigned before or during the camp session.

Camper Selection and Notification

Application for admission into the GR!DSM camps will be accepted until the allotted 40 slots/camp are filled.
